Are you planning on attending the 8mR World Cup on the Clyde in August and wondering how to watch these beautiful yachts in action.
We have partnered with the wonderful local company Boat trip Helensburgh to provide trips.
Private Day Hire
The price would be the same whether 1 or 12 people and we can easily return to Rhu to swap people over. This can be for press, media, spectators, family or a combination.

Individual bookings
We can schedule 2-hour trips to coincide with the race times. Individual bookings are £38pp.
Where to stay
The Royal Northern & Clyde Yacht Club is located in Rhu on the Gareloch, close to the River Clyde.
Rhu offers local stores, two hotels, a pub and Rhu Marina. Helensburgh, just 3 km away, offers shopping, supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and two train stations.
Helensburgh and Rhu offer limited hotels and rental accommodation within walking distance or a short cab ride from the regatta events. Loch Lomond is a 15-minute drive away with self-catering accommodation and the 5-star Cameron House hotel with golf course and spa. There are also several 1- or 2-bedroom flats available for rent on AirBnB or Booking.com.

You can also arrange car rentals, flights, train tickets, and airport transfers through Stewart Travel. Additionally, you can book excursions to castles, golf courses, sightseeing tours, or other vacation activities in Scotland.
Avoid accidental bookings in areas such as Greenock or Rosneath which result in longer journeys to RNCYC and Rhu Marina. Villages such as Balloch and Luss near Loch Lomond are around 20 minutes drive away.
