History
Esterel is an 8 Meter International Class with gaff sail, built according to the first rule of the formula. Commissioned at the time by the Michel brothers, in 1990 it was bought by Patrick Williamson, owner of the shipyard in Pointe-Rouge. From that moment a complete restoration was started which brought the boat back to its former glory. The beauty and lines of this hull have never gone unnoticed at the events in which you have participated. In 1992, the year you took part in the Brest rally, French sailing legend Eric Tabarly proposed that Esterel should become a national historic monument. The boat is a ragular at races in Cannes, St. Tropez and Marseille.
