Shipping

Turku offers great shipping connections with two international cargo ports a stones throw from the race harbour. When shipping your 8mR to Turku, you’ll be able to launch her in the cargo port; no need for road transport

Launching, Masts and Trailer Park
- Free off charge
- This will be done in Turku or Naantali harbour depending on your arrival.
- Your trailer can be parked in Turku or Naantali harbour depending on your arrival

Hauling
- Free off charge
- Your yacht will be transported to Ruissalon Telakka by World Cup organizers from either Turku or Naantali harbour.

Berthing
- The berthing fee for the 8mr yachts is free for the whole stay during the World Cup.
- For support vessels the berthing fee is 30€/day and side park €50/day.

Temporary Crane
- There will be a crane at the venue for lifting the yachts when needed.
- Some cost may occur when utilising the crane.

We offer special sea freight rates for contestants participating in the World Cup 2025:

Travemünde – Helsinki/Turku v.v. € 1000,- Finnlines Gate Service
Rostock – Helsinki/Hanko v.v. € 800,- Ship terms
Kapellskär – Naantali v.v. € 700,- Ship terms

The special rate includes the shipment of a lorry (max. 17m long and 2.6m wide), a ticket for 1 driver including meals, bunker surcharge, EU ETS charge, possible weekday/weekend surchage as well as the cargo dues and gate charges in ports.
