Finnish 8mR yacht that has always been under Finnish ownership. Sphinx has been one of the most active 8mR yachts in the world. Under the ownership of the Toukolehto family, Sphinx has participated in the following events: 1975 Sandhamn, 1978 Helsinki, 1982 Visby, 1987 Helsinki, 1988 Sandhamn, 1992 Nynäshamn, 2002 Helsinki, 2003 La Trinité-sur-Mer, 2004 Geneva, 2008 Hanko, 2013 Helsinki, 2014 La Trinité-sur-Mer, 2015 Geneva, 2017 Hanko. Since 2022 Sphinx has been in a joint ownership with Joakim Håkans. The skipper, Antti Toukolehto, first sailed on Sphinx in 1967 when he was only two weeks old. Currently, Sphinx has a youth team eagerly looking forward to competing in their home waters in Turku this summer!
