Windy, The 1927 Carl Holmström design, took 2nd place in the Sira Cup in 2007. The current team has sailed her for 1,5 seasons and are committed to be competitive for the 2025 World Cup. The owners Harri Saksi, Matti Ervamaa, Merri Leino and Petri Wilska and the rest of the crew Pontus Harlin, Valtteri Rauhala and Heppu Heikkilä are all veteran sailors with experience in several classic keel yacht classes as well as offshore racing with modern yachts. Fun fact: Windy took 1st place in the last regatta of 2024 in Finland using Dacron sails from 1980’s.
