World Cup Lindau 2006
The 2006 Eight Metre International World Championship, held at Lake Constance, saw Sarissa overtake Hollandia for the lead after winning two races in variable wind conditions.
Day two of the Eight Metre International World Championship 2006 Chopard – Races being held at the Lindauer Segler-Club on Lake Constance. And a new leader after Sarissa, P Roh, recorded two wins to overtake Hollandia, the day one leader.
After the promised force 3 died at the start time of the first race, finally at 14:00 a weak west wind got the fleet away on a course which had to be shortened. The second race was sailed under the black flag after a general recall and a second race was finally completed, both going to Sarissa.
Froya, T Ellegast, was second in the first race of the day and Layfayette, A Manuel, second in the second.
Overall Sarissa leads from Hollandia, T van Rootselaar, with Aluette, E Bieri in third place.
